Purpose: Additional ChipTuningPRO license for automatic translation of calibration map names using Google Basic (v2).
Languages: English, German, French, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic.
Requirements: ChipTuningPRO with its USB dongle, a Google account, a valid personal API key and Internet access. Google may charge separately and applies service quotas; the module license does not include Google service fees.
Setup: Open Settings — Translator, save the API key, choose a language and run the translation test. The API key is stored in the USB dongle; the user is responsible for keeping it confidential.
Operation: Start automatically after opening firmware or manually through Commands — Start Google Translation (Alt-T). Google translation can take priority over built-in map translations. Translation runs in the background with a progress indicator. Results are cached locally to reduce repeated Google requests. The API key can be deleted in settings.
Limitations: Google determines translation quality and accuracy. The ChipTuningPRO developer is not responsible for translation quality or API key security.
