Functions:
- ECU software version identification.
- Calibration-area reading and writing with a direct BENCH connection.
- Automatic checksum correction during writing.
- Recovery following a power or communication interruption during module operation.
No ECU opening or unlocking procedure is required.
Limitations and equipment:
- Recovery does not cover ECUs damaged by third-party flashing tools.
- Some vehicles have CAN-FD ECU variants, which require a Scanmatik 3 (SM3) adapter.
- A BitBox security USB dongle is required.
